Ferry Machine Helps Keep U.S. Troops Safe in Iraq with Timely Protective Painting
of Hum-V Shields

Recently, Ferry Machine Corporation was called upon to meet the military specifications for painting the titanium shields created to retrofit the Hum-Vs being used in Iraq.

The publicity surrounding these armored shields designed to protect the top gunners on these Hummers has been intense. Rarely has Ferry Machine been asked to handle a project of such vital importance and critical timing. Lives were literally at stake.

Needless to say, Picatinny Arsenal was delighted when Ferry Machine picked up, painted and delivered the titanium shields back to the post in less than one week. The post's commanding officer thanked the company for our expediency and explained that the parts were put on a transport to Iraq on the very day they were delivered. In fact, he noted, U.S. troops cheered the arrival of the shields and hotly debated over whose Hum-Vs would be outfitted with the special parts.

Ferry Machine is proud to have played a small but crucial role in helping to keep U.S. troops safe in such a hazardous region. The timing of your own project may not be this urgent, but we strive to handle every assignment as if it were.
